{"id":2691,"date":"2019-04-03T08:13:19","date_gmt":"2019-04-03T07:13:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/forgeshopping.com\/?p=2691"},"modified":"2019-10-11T10:30:36","modified_gmt":"2019-10-11T09:30:36","slug":"the-forge-supports-glasgow-childrens-charity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forgeshopping.com\/the-forge-supports-glasgow-childrens-charity\/","title":{"rendered":"The Forge Supports Glasgow Children&#8217;s Charity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Forge shopping centre will continue its support of the Glasgow Children\u2019s Hospital through the Oor Wullie Big Bucket Trail by sponsoring an Oor Wullie Sculpture to be situated within the Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Oor Wullie\u2019s BIG Bucket Trail\u00a0runs for\u00a011 weeks from 17th\u00a0June 2019 \u2013 30th August 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Scotland\u2019s first ever national public art trail will unite the country as it raises awareness and vital funds for Scotland\u2019s children\u2019s hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Artists from across the country have been commissioned to paint more than one hundred and fifty life-size Oor Wullie sculptures in every possible design you could imagine. The Forges design has been chosen and it will remain a guarded secret until the launch on 17th June.<\/p>\n<p>When the Oor Wullie statue goes on display in the mall, shoppers can download an app on their mobile phone or tablet, which will register they have visited the statue.
