COSPLAYERS GEARING UP FOR A SPOOKTACULAR COMIC CON
Holy Cosplay! BGCP Comic Con is heading back to The Forge Shopping Centre on 2nd and 3rd November and the plan to give Halloween an extended stay.
Following the success of the Forge Comic Con earlier this year, show organisers and management at The Forge Shopping Centre started planning a follow up event to top the previous outing.
Thousands of cosplayers and fantasy fans descended on the Forge in July , and organisers are expecting another host of ghouls, goblins and monsters at the Halloween themed event.
The event takes place from 10am – 5pm and will feature over 70 traders, cosplayers like Iron Man, Batman, Chewbacca, activities for all ages from tots to adults, as well as a series of guest appearances from Writers and Artists from Marvel, DC, Image and 2000ad Comics. The event will host workshops and classes such as slime making, horror quiz, design your own comic character and Jurassic Class as well as the always popular Cosplay Competition.
Organiser, Ian Bonar, of BGCP Comic Con, said, “We’re really looking forward to coming back to the forge after the success of the previous event and the perfect time is around Halloween so we expect to see some excellent costumes, entry is free as always so it makes a great affordable day out”
The event is suitable for all ages. Entry is free but tickets must be ordered via www.bcgp.co.uk
